Frequently Asked Questions

Why the price?

Some rope materials cannot be safely spliced because of their construction or properties. In those cases, the rope must be terminated using a calibrated hydraulic crimping press with the manufacturer's recommended fittings. This specialized equipment and hardware increase production costs while ensuring the product performs as intended.

We also use premium hardware. Many lower-priced products are assembled with inexpensive zinc-alloy snap swivels, lightweight welded rings, or plastic clips that can wear, corrode, or fail over time. We choose solid brass snap swivels and high-quality brass rings for their superior corrosion resistance, durability, smooth operation, and long service life.

What is the material used in making the knot products?

Nylon paracord is used for making assorted knots and key fobs.
Double braid nylon line is used for dog leashes; same material that is used for nautical dock lines. Dacron is also used to make standard 6-foot leashes and double handle leashes too. Hemp material is used for the making of doorstops and book ends.

How do I care for me dog leash?

Does it Float?

Dog toys are made with a polypropylene material, and the core is a tennis ball, thus it floats. This is not a chew toy. Monkeys Fist key fobs have a ping pong ball inside.  It's for a single boat key.  Wine corks float as well; 1 key only.
